Materials created for a garden tour in Charlotte's most unique urban neighborhood, the Fourth Ward. The tour showcased rarely-seen private gardens and courtyards throughout the mostly Victorian homes.
I had the chance to give this longtime Charlotte favorite venue, The Neighborhood Theatre, a new look. Colors and graphics were executed by playing off of some of the existing unique features (i.e. its old marquee). A secondary companion logo was created for the bar/dj area of the venue.

As head graphic designer for the Host Committee in Charlotte, I was charged with the task of creating a strong, cohesive visual identity for the city during the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Work included designing collateral for large scaled wraps, banners, posters, credentials, wearables and various signage. I was honored to help tell the story of Charlotte and leave a lasting impression of the city to the rest of the nation.
Letterpress invites done for this designer's wedding! Blind impression pass with two ink colors printed on Crane Lettra Flo White cover weights. Simple, but they were some stunning invitations & done on a fairly low budget I might add! Special thanks to Critsey Rowe Photography. I highly recommend.
Identity and site design for Charlotte's inaugural Drupal Camp. Drupal is an open source content mgmt. system used by many blog sites & large sites and is growing quickly world wide. Many cities host Drupal Camps, spreading the word about the mgmt system through training sessions, presentations and keynote speeches. (A nerd fest full of enthusiasm and some really cool folks!) I was honored to be a part of it...Each city has its own look using the drupal logo 'droplet' and somehow I ended up with a part hornet/part bumble bee to represent the Queen City.
Updated look for Shield Fire Protection Packaging (Suppressant Aerosol Sprays). These folks are the only fire safety company to manufacture all their products in the USA.
